Goal

The new collection is tracked by Product and Design in an Excel file that multiple employees work on. This Excel contains all necessary information about the collection and its subsequent steps. Once the collection is ready, it is manually entered into Oculus. This method is user-unfriendly, time-consuming, and prone to errors. Lets improve it.

Collection matrix

This matrix lays out various product categories, styles, sizes, colors, and other attributes to ensure a comprehensive and balanced offering.

General product progression

Each product goes through several stages (Proto, Photo, SMS) before entering production. Each stage has its own cycle of sub-stages, and this process is managed for multiple suppliers.

Model detail screens

Each product has its own detailed product page. This includes general information, a overview where all colors, sizes, and salesmen samples are defined, as well as details on materials. There is also a financial section that outlines all prices throughout the product's lifecycle, and a model history.

Visual Design

This is an overview of a collection matrix, where you can set the targets for each item for this year.

When setting targets in the collection matrix, you can assign items to each target. You can toggle items on and off and even include some items from previous years in this year's collection.

You can then open each item to start the process of requesting a prototype from suppliers. As the product progresses, it moves through various stages (e.g., Prototype, Photo, SMS).

On the financial tab, you set prices for your product in different currencies. This includes purchase prices, wholesale prices, retail prices, and even transport costs.
